€10.000 of €10.000 raised
Thank you to all our donors, we have met our fundraising goal.
With the support of the Fenix Charity Fund and WALLETTO, two rooms at the Children’s Day Centre in Šiluva, Lithuania, have been renovated and equipped to provide a more comfortable, safe and inclusive environment for children.
The centre, supported by the Order of Malta, welcomes school-age children from Šiluva and surrounding communities, offering a place where they can study, participate in educational activities, socialise and receive individual support.
Our Contribution
A total of €10,000 was allocated to the renovation and equipment of two rooms.
One room was transformed into a dedicated sensory space for children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum and with increased sensory sensitivity. The room provides a calm environment for relaxation, emotional regulation and individual sessions with specialists.
The second room was renovated and equipped for everyday educational and recreational activities, creating a welcoming space for homework, learning and spending time together.
In addition, five computers were donated to support children's education and help them develop essential digital skills.
Project Impact
The renovated facilities have significantly improved the environment for children attending the centre, giving them more opportunities to learn, develop and spend their free time in a safe and supportive setting.
The renewed rooms have quickly become a favourite place for the children, who now enjoy spending more time at the centre and proudly sharing their new surroundings with family and friends.
The improvements will also help the centre welcome more children from Šiluva and nearby communities in the future.
Through this initiative, Fenix Charity Fund and WALLETTO continue to support children's well-being, education and equal opportunities, helping create environments where every child can feel safe, included and supported.
