The beginning of a new school year is an exciting time for children and their families. It brings new classes, teachers, friendships, and experiences - but it also requires a great deal of preparation.

Clothes, shoes, backpacks, notebooks, stationery, and other everyday essentials quickly become a significant expense, particularly when several children in one family are preparing for school at the same time.

Ahead of September 1, WALLETTO employees in Vilnius took the initiative to support a large family raising ten children. With the support of Fenix Charity Foundation, they joined forces to help the family prepare for the new academic year and provide the children with the essentials they needed for school.

Joining Forces to Support a Family

The Vilnius initiative became a collective effort.

WALLETTO employees joined forces and raised funds to support the family. The contributions were used to purchase clothes, school supplies, and other essentials the children needed to begin the school year prepared and ready for the months ahead.

For a family with ten children, preparing everyone for a new academic year is a considerable task. By coming together, colleagues were able to provide practical support and help ease some of the financial pressure that accompanies the back-to-school period.

The initiative is also a reminder of the impact collective action can have. A single contribution may feel small, but when people unite around a shared purpose, those individual gestures can become meaningful support for an entire family.
